Customer Service - Shipping and Payment Policies
By purchasing from StopAndScrap.com, you are agreeing to all of the following terms:
**SHIPPING RATES FOR SUMMER 2013 SEASON**
US shipping rates:
- Orders under $100 - Flat rate depending on location ($4-$9 depending on distance from NY)
- Orders over $100 - Free except for US West Coast
- Orders over $150 - Free across the US
International shipping rates:
- Orders under $20: $10
- Orders $20-$69.99: $20
- Orders $70-$99.99: $30
- Orders $100-$199.99: $50
- Orders over $200: We will bill you
Orders are considered to be one shipment only and
will be held until all items arrive in stock. Orders containing pre-orders and back-orders will NOT be shipped until all of the items are in stock. If you do not want your entire order held, please place a separate order with your pre-orders/back-orders in it. Certain large orders may be split shipped at our discretion, depending on order size and release dates of pending products.
New in stock orders normally ship in approximately 3-5 business days. Orders including "Clearance" items may take anywhere from 1-3 weeks depending on order volume for that day's sale. In most cases your order will not ship until ALL items in that order are in stock. If your order contains a "PRE-ORDER" item, please click here to check our Release Schedule for more information on when your item is expected in. If you do not want your entire order to wait on just a few reserved items, we recommend that you request splitting your order into multiple orders (each order will be subject to their own shipping fee).
Do you want to pre-order multiple new releases? You can add on to any existing US order by using our new "Combine With Another Order" shipping option. Simply create a new order and during checkout and use the COMBINE coupon, which will remove the shipping fee. Be sure you've paid at least one shipping fee already, and let us know the order number that you are combining with when asked! International customers can use this option, but if it pushes your order into the next shipping fee bracket then we will bill you before shipping for the additional amount.
Your credit card will be charged at the time your order is placed. We have this policy because many
of our pre-order/back-order items have limited stock and in
order to reserve yours, we need to be sure the funds will be
available when the item is ready to ship. We are glad to balance
this policy out by offering a full 100% refund on any order
cancellation as long as it has not been packed yet (except special
orders), within 60 days of purchase.
Release and Shipping dates given for reserve/pre-orders and back-orders are estimated only. We are always at the mercy of the manufacturer, so they can change or delay the release date at any time. Please visit our Release Schedule for the most recent updates for release dates!
Before pre-ordering any item from StopAndScrap.com, we require that you read and agree to our Pre-Order Policy. Please click here to read this policy.
Orders placed through StopAndScrap.com may be canceled any time before the order is packed for a full refund, within 30 days of purchase only. Orders that are packed and held on reserve for future orders may only be canceled for store credit and only if placed within the last 30 days. We hold orders as a courtesy so you can save on shipping, so we can not offer a refund if you elect to cancel a reserved order. You may also offer a money refund less a 25% re-stocking fee if you do not want a full store credit. Pre-orders and Orders "On Reserve" at your request for more than 30 days may not be canceled but will be shipped at your request if shipping is paid.
Please email Support@StopAndScrap.com to cancel an item or order, or to request immediate shipment.
We can accept returns on non-clearance items only under the following conditions:- Because we focus on pre-orders and do not stock much product, there will be a 15% re-stocking fee for any returned merchandise.
- All returns must be confirmed via email or phone before shipping. You will be given a Return Merchandise Authorization # and the RMA# must be written clearly on the outer package of your return.
- Returned item must be delivered to us within 2 weeks of delivery to you.
- You will be responsible for the cost of shipping returns back to us.
- Items may only be returned for store credit.
- Items returned without a valid Return Merchandise Authorization #, or more than 2 weeks after delivery to you, will either be returned to sender or subject to a 25% re-stocking fee at our discretion.
- Clearance items may not be returned unless we shipped an incorrect or defective item.
- We offer exchanges for the same item only on opened defective items within 30 days of shipment. If the defective item is no longer in stock, we will offer a store credit for the cost of the defective item.
- Defective items under manufacturer's warranty (such as the Making Memories Slice) must be returned to the manufacturer.
To return a product to StopAndScrap, please email us at support@stopandscrap.com before sending it.
Items returned without authorization will not be accepted. We will cover the shipping costs for returning defective or incorrect items only.
If you purchase an item that is later placed on sale, we can offer you a store credit upon request for the difference in price if the following conditions are met:
- The item in question must still be in stock (ie, it can currently be purchased for the sale price) at the time of your request.
- The item you originally purchased must not have shipped to you yet.
The credit will be given in the form of a StopAndScrap.com Gift Certificate. To request a credit under this policy, please just email us at support@stopandscrap.com.
StopAndScrap.com will gladly place special orders for items we do not currently carry, however we will only be able to do so if we have an upcoming order with the vendor. Please email support@stopandscrap.com to find out.
All Special Orders are considered final sale, with no cancellations, refunds or exchanges. Most items that are special ordered are not normally carried by us, therefore if the item in question does not fit our sales scheme we may not be able to sell it to another customer.
Our preferred payment method is Paypal, however we also accept the following Credit Cards (Mastercard, Visa, American Express or Discover).
