As we continue to take your feedback into account, we've updated our 2012 Pre-Order Policy to reflect some things we've learned from the past year. Please be sure to re-read the pre-order policy below for the 2012 Winter Season:
- Due to popular demand, we will NOT be purposely limiting the number of pre-orders sold as a rule. In the past we would sell what we ordered and that was it. However, based upon your requests if a collection is particularly popular we WILL re-order it but please note that, on rare occasions, the customers who order last may not be able to get an item if it is in short supply with the manufacturer. This happens very rarely, but it does occasionally happen.
- Again due to popular demand, we WILL occassionaly offer pre-orders that are scheduled to arrive more than a month in the future. It will be the customer's responsibility to check our Pre-Order Status page when placing a pre-order and to understand that your entire order will only ship once the LATEST pre-order has arrived. If this is not your intention, please place separate orders without "combined shipping" so that each collection will ship on it's own.
- Any item that has not arrived within 2 weeks of our estimated shipping time may be placed on back-order by customer request and the rest of your order will ship without it. We will cover the shipping for the back-ordered item once it arrives. There were too many extensive delays by certain companies in the past which kept the remaining items in an order on reserve for much too long. Although it is impossible for us to know when a collection/item will be delayed by the manufacturer, we do not believe you should have to suffer the consequences for such a delay. This applies for US orders only and only by request. If you do not request split shipping, then your order will remain on reserve. International customers will be given the option to pay for multiple shipments or to keep their items on reserve.
- In general, your order will be held on reserve until all pre-ordered items have arrived in stock. We will, however, be flexible with this rule when considering if any of your pre-ordered items are more than 2 weeks late (See #3).
- Please check our Release Date page for the estimated release date for your pre-order. By placing your pre-order, you should understand that we are not responsible for any manufacturer delays and your pre-order may be delayed without warning if the products do not arrive on time. We will, however, ship any in stock items if a pre-order is more than 2 weeks late (See #3). Because it is impossible for us to email everybody who places a particular pre-order, we will update our Release Date page with any and all information we have regarding release schedules and/or delays. Please check regularly if you are waiting for a pre-order.
- As always, you may utilize our "Combine With Another Order" shipping option to place multiple pre-orders that you'd like to ship together. This will ensure that you can place a pre-order before it sells out, but also still ship later pre-orders with it to save on shipping costs.
- Your pre-order will be charged at checkout, but as always you may request a 100% refund any time before your order is packed. By charging ahead of time, we can ship everybody's pre-orders out faster instead of having to charge all credit cards at shipping time. We understand this may be an inconvenience to some, but it is a necessity due to the high volume of pre-orders that we receive.
- You may use our "Combine with Another Order" shipping option to continually add new orders into one shipment for a single shipping fee.. If all combined orders total over $50, you'll even qualify for free shipping (US only - international orders will receive a discount)! Just be aware that all intermediate orders will be held on our shelves on reserve until the last available pre-order is ready to ship. Utilizing our "combine" feature to save on shipping will invalidate our "2 week" guarantee as described above.
- Finally, by pre-ordering you agree that if a manufacturer does not send us enough product to fill our entire order, we will ship the product to the earliest pre-orders first. If we do not have enough to fill your order, we will cancel and refund the pre-ordered item.
